W180#4, 3-bedroom 1.5bath apt, sleeps 8 Address: West 180th St in Washington Heights, Westside 1 block to A train and 3 blocks to 1 train. Get to Times Square in 15 minutes via A train.
The apartment is lovely and has high ceilings and wood floors. It has a full kitchen with full sized refrigerator and oven, large screen (37") High-Definition LCD Television.
The apartment sleeps 8 in beds and 9 if someone sleeps on the foldaway in the living room. We can also provide a foldaway bed. The layout is wonderful for two couples also as the bedrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment with the bath in the middle. The Master bedroom has a queen. The second bedroom has a full. The third bedroom has a full, twin trundle and bunk.
The apartment is located on the first floor in the back which means that your windows are one flight up but at street level in the front; so there are only 4 stairs into the building and no more into the apartment. The walls and ceiling are thick concrete in this prewar building so it is very quiet to sleep and you usually need not worry about the noise you (or your kids) are making. No one can hear you. Nor will you hear anyone else most likely.
In this apartment you will feel like a real New Yorker. You can zip to the tourist spots or hang out in the neighborhood with New Yorkers. Of course Big Apple bus tours come here too.. so you can use hop on hop off if you wish (though the subway is much faster!!)
The bath is equipped with a tub and shower and is located centrally in the apartment. The layout is perfect for adult couples or a family. There are a bunch of great restaurants nearby including Saggio (Italian), New Leaf Cafe (fine American fare in park), El Malecon (Domincan chickent) and TA Cocina Mexican Grill. We provide our guests with detailed orientation materials for this apartment, area and NYC generally including subway and bus maps and airport info. We will also arrange for a car service to pick you up from and back again to your airport at no cost. This is a GREAT place to call home while visiting Manhattan!!!
